kieran8055 Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 Hia.. Wondering is there any automated way for SEF's (self evaluation form) for school. For example if department memebers uploaded their Departmental SEF's should automatically uploaded on to central School SEF's. Or could you point me to the right direction. also wondering is their any free SEF's software available? Any help is appreciated. Cheers :0)
theriver Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 Going through similar pain at the moment! I'm not aware of any tools I'm afraid, the way we're approaching it is to have a Word-based template that is on the VLE, and people are adding their parts to it individually.
Sylv3r Posted December 11, 2009 Posted December 11, 2009 We use this School improvement | school lesson planning tools with schoolcentre.net But its clunky, expensive and not very good

Sylv3r Posted December 13, 2009 Posted December 13, 2009 Hia, Could you tell me how much there are charging, and also is that web application installed on your server. Cheers £4k for 3 years I think and its not internally hosted, its web based. The sef is completed by our staff using schoolcentre and is linked to the Ofsted website, and all information is uploaded when required.
ste_on_tour Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 But its clunky, expensive and not very good Hi, We've been using SchoolCentre for a year now - couldn't find anything else out there that handles SEF uploads and it seems to do the job pretty well but yea it is a bit clunky. But they did a presentation at BETT and the new version looks a lot neater...
