tiger10.4.11 on power pc mac g5 and lepoard 10.5

Can I install 10.5 on top 10.4.11 tiger on my power pc mac g5/ will it run lepoard 10.6 or better cubase 5 will only work on 10,5 or better help I had to reformat my drive and did not realize it was the wrong osx for ,cubase 5

Your G5 will run 10.5, but NOT 10.6 as it is a PowerPC machine. 10.6 is only supported on Intel. Yes, you can upgrade 10.4 to 10.5.

that is what I figered/ does that mean that I half to start as a clean install or can I install over top of 10,4,11 Kevin thank you so much
