jgcracknell Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 Hi I've just got rid of Winsuite (ie Winsick!) and gone with a lovely Vanilla solution. However, the Show Desktop icon in the Taskbar used to be there and it isn't now. Is there a method of restoring this Taskbar icon for users? thanks James
FN-GM Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 You mean the quick launch? The only way to really do it is by enabling it in the profile.
jgcracknell Posted December 4, 2009 Author Posted December 4, 2009 Hi Yes - the quick launch! Arrrrghhh - I've locked the taskbar down as you'd expect and profiles are roaming. So I guess no luck. No idea of a regedit to solve this? J.
FN-GM Posted December 4, 2009 Posted December 4, 2009 You can give this a shot - How can I enable the Quick Launch toolbar via a logon script or Group Policy? I never managed it. It was a real pain.
Michael Posted December 5, 2009 Posted December 5, 2009 This should be quite simple - User Config > Admin Templates > Start Menu and Taskbar - Do not display any custom toolbars in the taskbar (Disabled) The get users to manually re-enable Quicklaunch.
