Share calendars in OWA 2007?

Hi,

 

Does anyone know whether its possible to share staff calendars in OWA 2007? I know its possible by using Outlook 2007, but some teachers insist on using the OWA version through the VLE.

What do you mean by 'share'?

 

Are they wanting to access another member of staff's calendar which is already shared, or are they wanting to enable sharing of their own for someone else to see?

 

Once a calendar is shared by a member of staff called Joe, I think a colleague who has permission to see it can go to the drop-down by the log off button in OWA and click 'Open other mailbox' and find Joe's mailbox - they'll only see the calendar unless the whole mailbox is shared.

 

However we haven't yet got Exchange installed - it's coming next week - so I'm going on my recall from limited testing on a small network.

They are wanting to enable sharing of their own.

 

 

Thanks, I remember doing this myself now a while ago. I'd prefer them to do it through Outlook 2007, but that would be too scary and confusing for them apparently!
