Guiseley School holds 5th phase specialist Technology College status and has recently been judged as a good and improving school by Ofsted.

 

This post is to work with the Network Manager and ICT Technician. The school has a large (500+) PC network running in a Windows XP, Windows 7, Server 2003 & 2008 environment.

 

Specific responsibilities will include:-

 

 Providing technical support to all staff and students

 Developing and maintaining often complex ICT solutions in conjunction with the Network Manager

 Delivering the appropriate support service, training and awareness for ICT developments

 Be involved in the strategic planning of future technical developments

 Proactively drive systems development by keeping up to date with cutting edge systems technologies.

 Supporting, mentoring and training other members of the technical support team
