Smartboard and Notebook Software

Has anyone come across a problem and fix for smartboard software, well we think it’s the smartboard and notebook software, as the machine worked for many months now.

 

The story so far:

Various machines across the school working ok, then for “NO REASON” according to the staff the pc’s try and install Smartboards Notebook software when loading explorer, and even office is trying to install itself again?

Notebook Software Drivers Ver. 10.0.314.5

Notebook Install Ver. 10.0.522.2

 

I have re-imaged a PC with the smartboard and notebook software and up to now all is working.

 

Any ideas?

I had a problem with the SP2 version of the Smart Board Driver and Mandatory Profiles, Each time office started, it spent 5 mins fixing itself.

 

This was down to the Ink aware components (that why it's affecting office), and to be honest I just reverted back to the previous version - are you using the Smartboard admin tools to create an msi with automatic update disabled?

 

Since then further version seem to have been ok.

to be honest i'd stick with 9.7 if you can, our staff love it.

Thanks, I am finding this problem more and more, hopefully its down to Smart Notebook Viewer.
