stevo1565 Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 Hi I have just installed two MacBook's in a school and instead of Bootcamp I have put VM Ware on them mainly to push the MAC side to get used and the other as its easier to jump between the two everything works fine apart from one thing when joined to the domain I can logon as Admin but if i try Teacher or Student account i get a "This user can not Log on Interactively" I have even added the users to the Remote Admin Account checked it Active Directory and Still cant figure out whats going down in Mac Town Any Ideas ? Thanks
IT_Master Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 In VMware....and I assume u r using windows, rename the computer. In active dir, make sure the computer name is present. That should solve it.
K.C.Leblanc Posted November 11, 2009 Posted November 11, 2009 Did you create the VMs from scratch and join them to the domain or have they been imaged/copied. Try rejoining to the domain but first check they can ping servers etc.
Alis_Klar Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 I'm with you using a VM rather than bootcamp. Really annoys me when teachers demand a Mac because it looks nice but refuse to use Mac OS X and demand windows. I had some teachers who were on bootcamp but couldn't cope with using windows on Parallels. ARGH!!! Put windows 8 on there to punish them!
