dhoward_westexetc Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 We are having the most bizarre problem with our new RM Ascend 2050 PCs. Certain machines, only one or two at any one time if at all, will suddenly start outputting random text, and we are totally perplexed! We don't know where the text comes from, presume it must come from another machine on site somewhere I guess. We have updated the network card drivers to the latest versions and this has not prevented this from happening. This does not happen to any other machine anywhere on the network. Has anyone else heard of this issue? We are running Windows XP SP3 on them, Impero version 2.3.2 and exactly the same software as other PCs on the network. Any ideas from anyone?
webman Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 Clipboard transfer from a remote control/desktop program that views the PCs?
synaesthesia Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 How random? Found a lot of the (belkin) RM keyboards acting like complete nutcases in a few places.
kmount Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 How random? Found a lot of the (belkin) RM keyboards acting like complete nutcases in a few places. Experienced this.
Michael Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 If you remove the keyboard, or swap with another machine does the problem re-occur? Have you tried flashing the BIOS?
kmount Posted November 6, 2009 Posted November 6, 2009 Have you logged a support call with RM over it?
