Operating on computer hardware

As an antistatic precaution none of the ICT support team are permitted to come to work wearing spandex. The same rule has been applied to the site staff, not sure why.

 

I wear something like spandex to work, like a cotton and poly mix, very comfee. Never had an issue with static, leave PC plugged in and usually on. Dont usually work on servers too much. But probably wouldn't bother on them ither. I dont ware sleve's so i'm usually grounding myself without realising by leaning on the case to get to the components.
