kevbaz Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Morning all I have been tasked with looking into possible replacement printers for the college for both classroom and office based printing. Currently we use a mixture of Hp2600's and dell 3100/3110's for our colour printing, but are wanting to bring our printing costs down. Do you have any recomendations for a printer with the cost per page stats we can look into? thanks
Netman Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Xerox 8860 - we just bought two... they are expensive at £1700, but ongoing print costs are very low and judging by my previous Xerox hardware they should last a fair while. Have a look at Colour Laser Printers, Printers - Printware lists most current printers and gives costs per page too... 1
Soulfish Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Personally we opted for the Ricoh Click scheme. Buy the printer and then pay a fixed cost per page thereafter. It's a bit wierd because you signup for a minimum period of time that you'll run the printer - the longer the period the lower the print cost, but because your only charged for what you use you can signup for the longest 5 year period, print only 1 page and not be charged for anything else.
WStore_Dan Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 If you would like details of the Ricoh Click scheme that Soulfish is talking about then get in touch and I'll go through it all with you Many thanks
