We are currently using netmedia's myBreifing as a one way comunications tool for schools and other areas of the organasation MyPortal - Netmedia Home Page - MyBriefing

 

But this is now looking to expensive to keep.

 

Is there any other softwear that you use that you can up load files to with a description, add tags and catogories. Then let the user subscribe to certain tags or areas who are then emailed when a new bit of information is added relivant to them?

Also myBreifing allows things to be confidential to groups so things marked as confidential to head teachers are only viewable from people in the head teachers section.
