I am trying to migrate my network guardian to a new server, its a vmware 3.5 the free one.

Its installed no problems but when I reboot the smoothie the time and date gets reset.

any one have any ideas.

Have you enabled NTP to synchronize your guardian's clock.

 

The RTC provided to guest operating systems by the hypervisor can drift more than it would on bare metal. (or quartz crystal )

NTP is just the ticket.
