RAID Bleep

a drive has failed in on my web server, i have another en route thats no prob, the prob is that i cant connect to the web console to tell it to be quiet, ill be walking round for days hearing this bleep.

 

any ideas???

haha atm i am using foo fighters to drowned out the bleep

If you can't silence it using the web interface, can't you reboot it and silence it from the pre-boot interface?

If you can open the server, maybe you can find the speaker header where its causing from and pull out the cable...

There should be a key combination that silences it. Check the manual. If Intel I think rebooting silences it and it needs to be reset.
