I will be interested in quotes for the following hardware 14 x Promethean ACTIVboard+2 78" & projector including fitting 9 x 24 port HP 10/100mb procurve switches (fanless) 2512 or similar 2 x 48 port HP 10/100mb procurve switches 2650 equivilant 12 x Hp procurve mini GBIC sx-lc 145 laptops key features battery life as long a possible 3hrs, durable, 3yr warranty NBD, boot order lockable unlike the toshiba's purchased in the past, , wifi cards G standard, not celerons, 2gb ram price per unit budget is £450 130 pcs dual core (not celeron) 2gb ram, hdd 100gb sufficient, dvd rom sufficient, 19"tft vdu's - minimum 3-5 yr NBD warranty (need to be eco friendly ie more efficient psu) budget £440 These are approx quantities of what i have been asked to price up. I am looking for hardware that is more energy efficient as they should start paying back for them selves by saving on electricity costs and reducing carbon footprint. Finally to compliment the wireless laptops a wireless access points & installation based on the ruckus gear ruckus 2000 series g APS = 43 Zonedirector 1050 = 50ap licence Power over Ethernet switches 24port = 7 thx Edited October 14, 2009 by projector1
