Netman Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 I'm no Apple fanboy, but I love my iPhone - can highly recommend it...

Exactly the same here, development for the phone is expanding at fast speeds, new applications and new uses are constantly being added which makes it an attractive platform over just a phone, added you can now "Active Sync" your contacts and the such from webmail such as Google makes it a very exciting indeed.
HodgeHi Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 Hmmm. It's a tough one. I currently have the 3g iPhone. Not 3Gs. The difference is quite a big one. This is the speed. The 3G gets quite sluggish at times and annoys me now and again. But i have never used the Pre so cannot compare this point. The biggest advantage for me with regards the iPhone is the app store. Having had a Hp PDA, Acer PDA x 2, it irritated me no end having to keep finding the apps to install, then installing them. This i think is where the iPhone is always going to do better than others unless they can come up with a better store. And now At and T have allowed VoIP on their network here's hoping that it will reach our shores.
