farquea Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 we have a HP2600dn printer and whenever we connect to it, the web interface doesnt work, we've tried doing a reset of the printer 2 times by going through the control panel on the front of the printer but even after that, still doesnt appear to enable the web interface. Does anyone know how i can enable it?
CheeseDog Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 I'm assuming you have no interface at all? Is it something daft like you aren't bypassing the proxy for local addresses? If not it's worth knowing that the web username by default is Admin. Not that unusual but for some reason it is case sensitive with the 2600
K.C.Leblanc Posted October 8, 2009 Posted October 8, 2009 I've never used 2600, but the 1022n has a bug in the web interface which causes it to only work in firefox. What happens if you pint or telnet it?
farquea Posted October 9, 2009 Author Posted October 9, 2009 just tried it in Firfox and yep thats works, thanks! what a piece of crap though that it doesnt work in IE!
