Hi all,

I was wondering if someone could help,

Over the school holidays we have had alot changes done on our network one of them being tighter security on servers, our Boss does not want any of us using rdp anymore which stops me from managering email accounts etc.

Is there any way I could connect to the Exchange Management Console through my Desktop?

Thank you

does you account have permission to the exchange box?

Try loggin onto your computer as the administrator and see if you can access exchange through the console.

Hi I have tried on the "Administrator" user(switch I know works on the rdp) but sadly no joy on my desktop.

so would that mean I am missing something on my desktop and not the user?

thanks agian for all your help by the way:D

do you think it has anything to do with having Windows 7?

or would it be somthing to do with permissions on my desktop?

* Supported Operating Systems: Windows Server 2003 R2 (32-Bit x86); Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 1; Windows XP

Have you tried installing the console by running the Exchange install disk on your workstation and just selecting admin tools on the components list?
