Domain Admin cannot perform functions as local admin

Hi, When I log on to my citrix server I can set the server into install mode etc. But when I log on as domain admin, I can't do it, I don't have the rights apparently. Also, when I log on as anyone other than local machine, I get the 'are you sure you want to run this app' etc. Is this a policy setting?

Log on as the local admin, go to Start, Administrative Tools, Computer management, Local Users and Groups, Groups. Double click on Administrators and make sure your domain admin group is added in there - e.g you should have something like this listed:

 

Administrator

DOMAINNAME\Domain Admins

 

If you only have administrator in there and not your domain's domain admins group that will explain your problem!
