Just a quick note to say we have released NetSupport School 10.5 today (29/9/09), big new feature is the ability to listen in to students audio (microphone and/or speakers/headset).

 

Teacher can monitor a class and see audio activity for each student (microphone and headphones/speakers), dive in and listen to a particular student and then record what they are doing.

 

Recording buffers audio for 60 seconds so you can always be sure you capture what you are interested in.

 

Audio works in Show mode and Exhibit too, if you re showing a PowerPoint slide show or web site for example all sounds and audio will be transmitted too.

 

Other enhancements include a much faster start up process, clients are found and connected to much quicker. New Room mode for segregating classes and better support for Terminal Server and other thin clients technology (NComputing, Wyse, SoftXpand etc).
