IE8 + ActiveX = ECDL

Can anyone please tell me how i would enable all ActiveX controls through GPO?

 

My machines have IE8. There are 2 required ActiveX controls which the new ECDL testing requires:

 

"Windows Media Player Extension" + "Authorware Web Player ActiveX Control".

 

Both these 2 plugins are on the machine however IE8 is prompting the user everytime to run the controls and for some staff to tell students how to do this is asking a little too much....

Are you using mandatory profiles? This might be why pupils are asked each time. You need to update the profile.
