Mysite webpart help - sharepoint

Hi all

 

I am using the mlg "my site" webpart to display the options for a site. for example i'm setting it to show all the pages under the staffroom site. the web part lists all the pages inder the staffrooms site.

 

Well the my site webpart won't let me use both internal and external links in the start site. I can't just use /staff/staffrooms i have to have either vle1/staff/staffrooms (internal) or vle.holte.bham.sch.uk/staff/staffrooms.

 

Does anyone know of a better free webpart i can use for this instead of the my site one? or does anyone know of a way around this problem?
