GrumbleDook Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 Ok folks ... help an aging bloke out here ... I am trying to sort out some stuff with pop ups. There are a number of sites that I want to allor pop-ups to run by default for all users and it would be handy to implement this vie GPO. I suppose I could do stuff with users on a mandatory profile but that would not covere staff and it means fiddling every time I have a new site to add. I have had a brief hunt in the GPOs to locate a suitable place but old age and frustration with B&Q has meant I can't find it ... Can anyone help me out here?
CyberNerd Posted September 1, 2006 Posted September 1, 2006 If the setting isn't in GPO by default you can create custom adm files for a given registry setting. If your not sure where to find the exact setting you could monitor the reg for changes. does anyone know which has precedence, GPO or mandatory profile? I need to do this soon to allow animated gif's in IE - I think our profile has them turned off
