MRBS: Display rooms available for current lesson

I created a unique "home" page for our MRBS with some links to the most used features and a list of the next 5 bookings for the user.

 

I want to make a new table which shows all the rooms/resources for the current period, and whether it is booked or available. Looking at how the database deals with entries and times, there is only a difference of 60 between starttime and endtime (this works out at 60 seconds, not 60 minutes). I have being trying to use the DATE(U) variable to try and work out how to extract just the entries for this lesson, but I am struggling! Any ideas how to do this?

 

I have it set up so that there are periods 1-5, then an after school entry (so only 6 slots in each day).
