Citrix/Terminal Server policies

I have just configured a couple of Citrix Xenapp servers (Windows 2008) and have a domain hosted by Windows 2003. Now when a user logs on to the network on a standard PC they get the lockdown desktop. When a user logs on to a Citrix client, they get the same desktop. Is there a way either in my active directory or Citrix that when a user logs on to a Citrix thin client they receive a different desktop.

Group Policy loop back processing on the GPO locking down your Citrix servers is what you need here.

ssiruuk2 is correct you need to apply a loopback policy, you can also specify a profile for terminal services in the Terminal Server Profile path in Active Directory.
