cooper Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 Hi Has anyone got Acer Travelmate laptops working on there CC3 network? Advice on drivers needed Thanks
bossman Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 @cooper: Which model Acer Travelmate as we have had the 290 working here for a couple of years.
crc-ict Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 Yes, we have lots here. The only thing is you often need to install some drivers manually after the build completes (unless you add them to build area). Our latest ones are the TravelMate 5720/5730 series - they work fine as long as the hard disk mode is set to IDE and not SATA in the BIOS.
cooper Posted September 21, 2009 Author Posted September 21, 2009 Got the Acer Tracelmate 5730 When building with the standard RM bulid disk i get Testing the network connection Directory already exists No driver for autodetected network card Checking for custom drivers I have downloaded the driver for the acer support site and its a broadcom B57 driver this is included in the RM standard build disk. So do i need to add another driver? Thanks Cooper
