Stuart_C Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 Why is excel being a pain? I want to link some cells to another spreadsheet. When create the link for the first cell it puts in the cell =[ReportNamesRaw.xlsx]Sheet1!$A$2 and displays the value from the other workbook. When I remove the $ signs so that I can fill the formula into the other 1200 cells it changes it to text. WHY WHY WHY. Signed: Frustrated of Rotherham.
