Download History Analysis

How can i find the amount of downloads i have done from 1-Aug-2009 to 31-Aug- 2009 on my PC?

 

My service provider does not have any of this data. So i need to rely on the historical data or logs stored in my comp.

 

Please tell me if there is any way of finding the total GB downloaded from my PC or a given IP.

if you remote into your router - does your router have any logs stored on it ?

Problem is there are multiple Laptops connecting the same modem. And IP's are dynamically created , and i believe router stores connections at this IP level.

 

I believe getting the history from the system itselves is the only way.

unless it showed you which mac address of which device was connected along with date and time stamps etc

 

Otherwise if not then yes it would have to be done on the system some how - not sure myself how you would achieve that though.
