Netman Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 Hi all, Have been looking at whiteboards for our junior school and was expecting to go for Smart. However, have seen the Polyvision jobs which seem to be very well priced and are now coming with RM (spits) EasyTeach software bundled. Anyone used these boards and if so are they any good... Same question for the software really.... Ta...
ajbritton Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 I've seen EasiTeach at one school, and they love it. It looks very slick. Can you get hold of a demo?
Dos_Box Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 We use Easiteach here. Its a pain to setup and install and for some bizzare reason will not store the serial number in the registary involving you having to enter in manually after every re-image. RM dross.
ajbritton Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 Now you come to mention it, I do recall having some difficulty getting Easiteach to install (RM seem to have there own rules when it comes to writing MSIs!), but I got it working in the end. I'll to to look up the details of what I had to do.
Ric_ Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 @Dos_Box: I used EasiTeach at Longridge. The program went into the base image and I ran the program (enterring the serial number and changing to the funky skin) before taking the default user profile. I don't recall having any problems.
Dos_Box Posted August 25, 2005 Posted August 25, 2005 It seems that it has now taken the SN form my networked default user profile.
