Right got an issue

Got MRBS running IIS.

If I access MRBS and other PHP systems Like MLHD (so think my setup vrs the software). If access from outside using the http://support.domain.com\mrbs name no problem. But if I access the domain from within school network does not work.

But if I access using local dns name http:\\servername\mrbs works ok.

At moment solved it by having two links inside network and outside network but like to get it down to one link http://support.domain.com\mrbs.

Can access the domain no problem just fails to accept the correct login using NTLM.

Does all that make sense.

Anyideas

Can you view http://support.domain.com from inside? (if no you probably need a DNS Zone added internally for domain.com so you can set support.domain.com to point to the internal IP of servername).

A similar discussion has taken place recently for moodle at tanfield high which may help.

Oh I see, maybe worth emphasising that in the original post as it does smell like DNS until you mention that! :)

What are you seeing?

Failed to logon support.domain.com\yourname ?

You can try adding support.domain.com into your exceptions for the proxy server in IE.

If this then works it can be done domain wide with a GPO
