mossj Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 Just a quick one looking at some DELL/Samsung laptops and was wondering if any of you have any pro/con experiences.. In particuly looking for ifo on the build quility of newer Dell Laptops. (When compared to Apple/HP/Toshiba) p.s Also has anyone got a Samsung NC10 and what do you think of it?
ZeroHour Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 I have had a dell a few years ago but tbh I would only ever buy lenevo laptops now. I have a HP and it drives me nuts. My old lenevo was brilliant build quality and they have a tool that you run that downloads and installs all the drivers for the hardware which makes it really noob friendly and also a breeze for admins.
Dom_ Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 We have a few lenovo's here and I HATE them lol. As for Dell's, we have a trolley of vostro's which are fine, and look quite posh too. Heard good reports about the nc10's, but I have a dell mini 12 which is awesome.
Dos_Box Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 I always brought Dells for work, but am now a Lenovo convert (thanks Ric) and am on my second Thinkpad now (and no, the first one didn't break). However I still use an Acer at home with no problems.
jcollings Posted September 9, 2009 Posted September 9, 2009 We have about 100 NC10 and I think they are great. Very nice keyboard. Just bought an N310 (apparently NC10 replacement) and that too is great.
