HMCTech Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 We purchased the OS X Server unlimited client not to long ago, is it possible to upgrade this to snow leopard server? We have been able to upgrade all our new iMac's and mac mini's using the apple website, but I cant find anything similar for the server. Can anyone help?
Bayne Posted September 2, 2009 Posted September 2, 2009 As long as it's on an intel based machine you should have no problem. We just upgraded our XServe from Leopard server to Snow Leopard Server with no problems....well, almost no problems. Be sure to google for incompatibilities....the biggest one I have found so far is that the version of PHP on Snow Leopard (5.3) is incompatible with the latest version of Moodle. Our upgrade cost was $249.00 (US)
AntonioRocco Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 Hi If you're talking about the cost of upgrading to 10.6 then these should be useful? Apple Introduces Mac OS X Server Snow Leopard Mac OS X Server v10.6 Snow Leopard Unlimited Client License - Apple Store (U.K.) Antonio Rocco (ACSA)
