Ok, as you know doubt know, I have been having some issues getting VPN working via my ISA 2006 box to my Windows 2008 (now R2) Domain..

Everything is setup correctly at the school - i have cehcked, rechecked, deleted, recreated so many times it is untrue..

Before the summer on the old network it worked all fine - same router, same ISA server (Windows 2003 btw).. The only difference were that the old DC was on Windows 2003 R2

Since I recreated the Domain/ISA, I have been getting error 718 when trying to connect..

Anyway...

I thought I would have a play with the VPN settings on my home PC

I have changed it to PPTP only, and now get a 691 error (See attachment.)

I have tried every combination imaginable..

usernanme, password

username, password, domain

domain\username, password

[email protected]

All are correct but none work :(

Ok think I might know what the issue is..

My subnets...

My Home Network is: 192.168.0.x /24

My School is 192.168.x.x/16

Guessing this is conflicting :(

Also, I created a LOCAL user account on the ISA server and i can establish a VPN connection with that account.. But cannot talk to the remote network :(
