Dont fear, the patch for the patch is here

Talking of which... how many of you prefer using linux over windows or vice versa? I know most of you have no choice but to use windows on your workstations at work, but what is on your machine(s) at home? Not trying to start a debate... just curious.

In my case, my server runs linux, two client machines run linux and the other two run windows (I would prefer linux, but some of my family insist on using windows).

I managed to un-window my school workstation over a year ago and haven't looked back. I admit though I also run 2k3 server, XP, 2000 server and another linux install on the same box in VMWare for testing purposes - and most of the stuff I need is rdp/ica so it has hardly changed anything (except better reliability, better applications and less reboots)

but what is on your machine(s) at home?

As soon as I discovered Americas Army, Warzone2100, enemy-territory, tremulous and MAME I was able to give up my illegal copy of XP at home in favour of Ubuntu. I miss BF2 and WoW, but not enough to by Cedega.

Also I converted my mum, sister, and GF to Ubuntu/SuSE - and found I lowered my (free) support costs (giving me more time to spend exploring the untold number of free applications I now have)
