Nova T 64 bit

I know similar things have been spoke about before, but does anyone now if Nova T will ever be support for 64 bit systems?

Nova T4 will not support 64bit, I have been informed that this will soon fade away and T6 will be the way to go.

It already has faded away for all but Reporting purposes. It will remain just for that until it's excellent reports are replaced with SQL Server 2008 Reporting.

 

So there is absolutely no point in Capita wasting resources on making NT4 work in 64 bit.

Nova-T4 is 16bit, therefore it won't run in Windows 64bit. Nova-T6 is 32bit.

If you use it for anything more than printing class lists / time tables, then you need to move to Nova 6 asap, as T4 is not going to be around for very much longer.

We were using T4 until i upgraded our server this holiday and now everyone is using T6

last year was the last year of T4 for us we are now T6 all the way! I hope...

Now we just need to train the teachers how to get their timetables...

We've moved to Nova T6 and we have tested it 64-bit systems. It works fine. However, I have not moved production to 64-bit yet. I will wait until T6 has better reports. Until then we are still using T4 for many reports. I sympathise with Start_C on getting teachers to use the system

The reports will not be moved to NT6. They will be part of the SQL Server 2008 Reporting and are one of the priorities in this development.

There were a handful of us Timetablers at the Software Deveopment Group meeting who ensured that the Team understood the importance of many of the NT4 Reports. And I don't just mean the standard Timetables and Group Lists!
