Boon72 Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 as the title suggests, i've just recently completed 2 Apple courses and past them (ACSP & ACTC) is this something I can ask for a pay increase for? the courses were paid for by a client and not my work place as they have just gone Apple. thanks in advance
PEO Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 if its a school you work for, be prepared to be milked... I don't think schools could give a dam these days. it just means they save more money on external contracts etc
Little-Miss Posted August 23, 2009 Posted August 23, 2009 nope, i think they just expect you to have them...
Boon72 Posted August 23, 2009 Author Posted August 23, 2009 there was no requirement to have them, they were a request by me to the client who i support
ButterflyMoon Posted August 24, 2009 Posted August 24, 2009 Not here am afraid we can have any certificate possible and no increase in salary. Least that seems to be the ruling for all support staff here.

You could try a teaching certificate, seems to work for some other school staff Kidding aside I must echo the above comments as any school that I know of will just look at your additional qualifications as a free bonus for them.
