Microsoft Flight Simultor X

Hi

 

Someone has given me a copy of Microsoft Flight Simultor X. I am stuck on Mission 2

 

I am using a keyboard and i cant get grips with the controls plane is shooting all over the show. Would a joystick make it easier to control it?

Very definately. You can pick up some good cheap ones but for flight simulator you really want one with a throttle control as as many buttons as you can!

Never really been a gamer myself either but used to play with some of the older flight simulators and the combat flight sims as well.

 

Used to have one of these:

Enough buttons and the important throttle control. I'm sure there are people that can advise you better but for a cheap joystick to get you better into the game, I don't think you can go wrong with one of these!

Not actually sure if you can still get this model but something similar is all you will need. If you are bootcamping your windows as well, the logitech ones always seem to work better than other makes (no idea why though!).

Personally, If you are going to be playing Flight sim a fair bit, I would recomend one of these
