Hey all, wondered if anyone can help us out here. One of the IT teachers will be running a Microsoft course from september and for this we will need 10 identical machines that can be taken apart and suchlike. They do not have to be anything special, as long as they are identical and they work the spec is irellevant.

So if anyone has some machines they are willing to donate we'll happily collect from anywhere as long as it's not too far from Birmingham.

Thanks,

Ollie. :)

Do you want machines that work or will anything do? We're probably getting rid of both, but if you're not fussed the working ones go to a school elsewhere. Warwick, so near enough for you to collect easily.

If you can make your way to (not so) sunny Norwich then I have a fair few Elonex Prosentia 1000's on the way out the door. 98% of them work, or will do with a fresh windows install. Only snag is they all require RAM as the RAM from these machines were 'liberated' to keep our remaining Elonex Pro 1000's going until next year :D

If you want them PM and let me know before the end of the week as I need to arrange disposal with a recycling company if they are of no use ;)

We're in West Lancashire and have some P4 1.7ghz machines, some with HDDs (20GB) and most with RAM (256MB). They don't have any MS OS licences attached to them though. All identical in appearance and spec.

Otherwise, we'd be sorting out a recycling company to come and collect them! Not sure if we're too far away for you though..

Got 18 "delightful" RM machines I won't use, 512mb ram, a crappy celeron processor, fairly small for storage (might be handy if you only want them out from time to time). South Warwickshire. Drop me a pm if interested. Going to recycling eventually otherwise.

Thanks guys. All posts passed on to the IT teacher in question, will wait to see what he says and update. Anyone else with equipment to offer still?
