difi80211g Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 Has anyone been able to get entourage to work with an Exchange 2007 client? Outlook works just fine and IMAP/POP3 are disabled for security reasons. No matter what I try I can not get it to connect. Is there a trick with downloading a ssl certificates?
difi80211g Posted July 29, 2009 Author Posted July 29, 2009 We have purchased SSL certs and they are currently working for owa, active sync and outlook.
Boon72 Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 i just set this up yesterday, when you use the wizard and you have the exchange server name field, it needs to be the following. mail.exchange.com/exchange/[email protected] obviously amend for your names etc
srochford Posted July 29, 2009 Posted July 29, 2009 These are our instructions for staff - Setting up Entourage 2008 for College Email Access - hopefully, you can see what would need changing for you to use it. I'd guess you could have a problem if the SSL certificate is not trusted by the machine - who is it issued by? Another way of looking at it is if you go to OWA on the Mac does it work without certificate warnings?
