matt40k Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 Ages ago I logged a Change request (CR) for Capita to include a room booking feature within SIMS .net. This would be good for teachers who want to book out the library, ICT Suite or such. It would be great if it was within SIMS, as it saves you having to export from SIMS into a 3rd party app, plus it could update there timeline etc. I'm guess they would fob this off till Nova-T7, but still it would be nice to be added to the scope. Log into SupportNet ( http://support.capitaes.co.uk/newlogin/login.asp ) And click Support > Change Requests 0807-373359 Search List Strongly agree (go on, you know it's a good idea)
Sivadam Posted July 27, 2009 Posted July 27, 2009 Your CR actually requested it to be included in V.7 so I guess it won't even be comsidered until then ...
matt40k Posted July 27, 2009 Author Posted July 27, 2009 That would make sense, would be nice if it gets included in the first release tho.
vikpaw Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 i like your thinking batman! initially thought it would be best suited to something in sharepoint, but i really like the idea of it changing on the homepage and being indicated in sims. strongly agreed. 1
matt40k Posted July 28, 2009 Author Posted July 28, 2009 Nova-T4 dies when the reports go into .NET which Capita are aiming for March-2010. So I'll see it 2012?? Lol!
vikpaw Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 LOL. does the roadmap go that far?! i haven't looked for a while...
matt40k Posted July 28, 2009 Author Posted July 28, 2009 Roadmap goes up to March 2010 after that it's a blur where only the Gods of SIMS and FMS live, we merely get the rained upon a few years laters...
browolf Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 they've done it as a separate website now http://www.capita-sims.co.uk/files/sims/downloads/partner_room_booking_system.pdf 1
