Reformat LaCie Hard drive: Mac > PC

I have a LaCie hard drive that I used to get my files of of a MAC computer. Now, I need to transfer those files onto a PC. However, when plugged in, I cannot find a way to open the drive. It appears in my Device Management list, but I cannot find how to reformat or open it. Please help.
