kal-mc Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 I am guessing the answer is no, but I wanted to put a different logo in the title bar for when users go onto the Sixth Form page Rydens School is it possible? or would I have to start a new site? thanks!
mossj Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 (edited) Do you mean a diffrent schoolbadge logo? or a diffrent favicon? answer is YES to both All you need to do is ftp onto your site and pull down the folder of the template your currently using. Then go into that folder and rename it in the "templatedetails.xml" file. To change the schoologo Change the logo in the images folder. To change the favicon Open up index.php and change where the favicon points to. Then you zip up the folder and log into your Joomla backend, go to Extentions, then install/uninstall. install the zip file you just made. Then go under extentions again and go to template manager, from there click on the template you just made, then assign it to your sixthform pages. Edited July 16, 2009 by mossj 1
kal-mc Posted July 16, 2009 Author Posted July 16, 2009 awesome, thanks!! used the blue template instead of duplicating to give sixth form bit its own look. Thanks again!!
daboroe Posted July 17, 2009 Posted July 17, 2009 how did you do that? Could you send me a tutorial? I would like to do that as well.
kal-mc Posted July 17, 2009 Author Posted July 17, 2009 as mossj said, just go under extentions and go to template manager, from there click on the template you want (i used blue), then assign it to whichever pages you to have a different template. Hope that makes sense?
