I cannot for the life of me remember how this is done manually...

Creating a shortcut in the start menu which will map an image on the CDServer to a virtual drive then run an application from the image.

The basics, as I recall are:

C:\Program Files\

If anyone could shed any light asap it would be most appreciated.

I know it can be done from the Avantis client but, for the purposes of tweaking, I'd like to remember how to do it manually.

Many thanks.

One of mine is "C:\Program Files\Avantis\Avantis Client\MapImage.exe" /M Q: "\\CDSERVER\Census2001 Disk1" /E "Q:\LinksToInstallers\Product 1\cddata\code\intro\chooseview.htm"

So I guess it's /M X: "" /E ""

Where X is the Virtual Drive Letter

Does that make any sense? I'd just use the built in creator lol.

The CDServe I used to have worked like this:

"C:\Program Files\Avantis\CDserve Client\Cdmapw32.exe" /Q /M D: #18 /E "C:\Program Files\Wb99issa\wb99issa.exe"

where #18 is the number of the CD on the server. In the example above D: is the drive letter to map.
