CAM Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 Ryanair considers stools on flights - , - Latest news & weather forecasts - MSN News UK Having flown on RyanAir before, they are unpleasant enough as it is. Being forced to "squat" on a stool is even less unpleasant and cannot be safe in a crash or even for your back if things go as normal. Proof they really are a human cattle carrier. Then again, with the paid toilet booths on-board, squatting and stools is probably happening already.
TNE Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 The BBC are reporting it as if they got permission to introduce it you would travel for free if you stand up. I think its just RyanAirs publicity department coming up with a story just to get headline space again.
ZeroHour Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 Then again, with the paid toilet booths on-board, squatting and stools is probably happening already. They charge for the toilet already?!?!
srochford Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 That surely has to be a joke?? Have we got the date wrong - should it say 1 April??? The toilet charging was a sort of joke by Michael O'Leary; as I understand it, he wasn't intending it seriously (but Ryanair does look at every possible way of getting the headline fare low while still making a big profit)
Sylv3r Posted July 6, 2009 Posted July 6, 2009 They charge for the toilet already?!?! Not, yet but it isn't far off from becoming a reality. Outrage over Ryanair's £1 toilet charge plan -Times Online
