Glass screens are preferred, but they need to have a non-reflective coat (lots of natural light), so we may go with conventional screens and threats of doom. It's sixth form territory, so they should behave. Desired spec x5: Aforementioned monitor. Core2Duo 7400 4GB Ram SATA disk - 80Gb+ Dedicated graphics card, not onboard - ie. Radeon HD2400/3450. Fanless/cooled by system fan desired. Smallish desktop case. Vista Business downgrade to XP. No optical drives, no floppy. 7-in-1 card reader in a 3.5" bay (or whatever). USB keyboard + mouse. Vendor wise, I like Lenovo, don't mind Dell, and don't mind HP depending on where they sourced their motherboards from this year. I'm not interested in Vigilen, Acer, RM or Edge10.
