contink Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Small plea for help if anyone can... My father is currently developing some code that needs to use a USB sniffer which the author has licensed as freely modifiable. Only problem is the author wrote the thing using the Win2k DDK and of course it's no longer available. Is there anyone who can help provide a copy from their archive of MSDN disks or similar. I hasten to add this is only the driver development kit and it's unsupported, etc... so hopefully it's not bootlegging. Any assistance gratefully received... PM is probably best.. Thanks.
contink Posted June 25, 2009 Author Posted June 25, 2009 Microsoft Windows 2000 DDK Download any good? Ben Unfortunately it links straight back to Microsoft where the download is no longer available. Thanks though..
SYNACK Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 I can get the 2003 one off technet but I am assuming that that one is probably no help?
plexer Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Are you sure that the 2000 isn't included with the 2003 download? Ben
OutToLunch Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 Sounds like the 2003 DDK still contains an enviroment for 2000? Use the Windows 2000 build environments in the WDK to build drivers designed to run on Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, or Windows 2000. The Windows 2000 build environment in the WDK includes updated headers and libraries for Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 (SP4). 1
SYNACK Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 In which case here is the download link for the 2003 one http://download.microsoft.com/download/9/0/f/90f019ac-8243-48d3-91cf-81fc4093ecfd/1830_usa_ddk.isoand the page it came from:Windows Server 2003 DDK Use the Windows 2000 build environments in the WDK to build drivers designed to run on Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, or Windows 2000.
