"Established school" code for what

I have seen this in a few adverts and I'm curious at what they might be getting at. Most schools have been around a while so that shouldn't really be worthy of comment.

 

Do they mean this school has long standing procedures so don't go in expecting to behave like your the first NM of a new academy, setting things up?

For parents it probably translates as, experienced staff, don't chop and change things (take a considered approach). Its working so they ain't trying to fix it.

 

For IT professionals I'd read it as: may be difficult to change things here.
