kylewilliamson Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Are any fellow edugeekers heading up to Stonehenge this weekend for the Summer Solstice?
powdarrmonkey Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 Every year I'm tempted, and every year I forget and arrange something else at the wrong end of the country
Dos_Box Posted June 16, 2009 Posted June 16, 2009 I lived next to it for 5 years. Never saw the fun in getting up at 3am to see the sunrise. Mind you, new theories suggest that the actual event was at sunset!

ICT_GUY Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 Damn you, I have been trying to avoid all references to the longest day, I always find it so depressing.
SpuffMonkey Posted June 17, 2009 Posted June 17, 2009 No - but I did used to go to the free festivals - back in the late 70s & early 80s - good fun....what I can remember of it...
