plexer Posted June 12, 2009 Posted June 12, 2009 Why is it that this thing has firewire available on it's dock yet if I plug it in movie maker cannot see it as a capture device? It's detected and installed by windows as a JVC camera. If I plug it into my dvd/hard disk standalone recorder via firewire I can record from it but not when hooked up to my laptop. It sucks. Ben
