Hightower Posted June 5, 2009 Posted June 5, 2009 Our pupils get the error "Failed to save document" in Flash MX when they try to save. It seems to occur only when a layer is added that contains a music files (such as an MP3). Has anybody come accross this and found a solution? We're CC3.
spewcheese Posted June 10, 2009 Posted June 10, 2009 I've experienced exactly that error with different versions of Macromedia Flash (though I haven't seen it with the "Adobe" versions yet) - always when the file being edited is located on a network drive. Sadly I've never found a good solution apart from getting the user to work on a copy on their desktop and then save it back to the network drive when they're done. 1
Hightower Posted June 12, 2009 Author Posted June 12, 2009 Thanks - good to know I'm not alone (P.S. We're Macromedia, not Adobe so you're yet to find it happen to Adobe Flash).
