iTunes 8.2

As per this website

It shows that you should have an option to password protect your iphone backups amongst other new features such as backing / synching your notes etc but I am not getting any of those options.

 

I have re installed itunes and its still the same, what am I doing wrong ?

 

Only thing I can think of is because obviously iphone OS 3.0 has not been released yet so wont have access to it to update my phone to that version - am guessing they will release OS 3.0 around the 8th or a bit after ?

 

os x is 10.5.7 - patched to the latest so I have all the updates.
